Kemet International are very pleased to announce that we have won the Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade for 2009. The citation for this prestigious award reads:-

"Kemet International Limited manufactures diamond abrasive consumables for high precision lapping and polishing. It is winning the Award for the first time for consistently increasing its export earnings over six years.... It has been operating in this traditional sector for 71 years. This outstanding Success has been achieved using the company's subsidiaries, branch offices overseas, and an extensive network of distributors and agents, all of whom are fully supported from the UK, to promote the products in a wide spread of markets"

Kemet are proud to celebrate their 70th anniversary in September 2008. The Kemet Sanderhead, a rotating abrasive flap wheel for woodworking and metalworking was one of the first products which Kemet sold.
